We have all been to a wedding. It’s amazing to see two people make a life long commitment to each other. But something happens long before we get to the wedding. See, the date was set and the invitation went out! The invitation lets us know that there is a really important event and because we are important and valuable, we are invited to be there.

In the same way, God has given us two invitations. One offers salvation, but the second invitation we often overlook. This invitation is given to you each and every day: God asking you to join Him at His table. It is at His table and in His presence there is joy, peace, comfort, direction, and acceptance. Even when things are rough, God promises to set up a banquet table in the midst of your enemies.
